Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a pastry-minded professional for Benchmark Basking Ridge Hotel to prepare breads and desserts and support a culture of teamwork. The role emphasizes consistency, safety, and high-quality plating for Banquet/Outlet desserts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all baked goods according to recipe standards or direction from Culinary Management.
• Responsible for plating and garnishing all Banquet/Outlet desserts.
• Keep all food rotated and separated in accordance with FDA regulations.
• Maintain a safe, organized and sanitary work area.
• Follow production sheets for each day in consultation with the Pastry Chef and or Sous Chef.
• Must be willing to cross train in all areas of the pastry kitchen and other areas of culinary.

Responsibilities and Duties

Prepare all baked goods according to recipe standards or direction from Culinary Management Responsible for plating and garnishing all Banquet/Outlet desserts Keep all food rotated and separated in accordance with FDA regulations. Maintain a safe, organized and sanitary work area Follow production sheets for each day in consultation with the Pastry Chef and or Sous Chef Must be willing to cross train in all areas of the pastry kitchen and other areas of culinary Must cross training for all shifts. In the absence of the Pastry Chef or Assistant Pastry Chef, consult with Sous Chef for any changes in Banquet/Outlet needs for that day and upcoming days Maintains all equipment in a clean and operational order, reporting any breakdowns/faults to a culinary manager. Maintains a clean and sanitary kitchen environment always in compliance with all local and state codes, prepared for Food and Safety evaluations Helps ensure all relevant logs are completed, filled out correctly and ready for inspection Always maintains professional appearance back of house or front of house

Compensation
