Aspen One in Aspen is seeking a Pastry Cook III to work across pastry and bake shop duties, under the guidance of the Pastry Chef and management. You will gain and advance skills in knife work, dessert plating, buffet service, in-room dining, and chocolate work, reporting to the Pastry Chef.
Requirements include a culinary certificate or pastry arts degree and 2–3 years of pastry experience in luxury settings; English proficiency is essential, Spanish a plus.
The Pastry Cook III will work in all areas of the pastry and bake shop environment and receive guidance from the Pastry Chef and management team. Knowledge and experience will be gained and advanced in areas such as knife skills; buffet and banquet service; In Room Dining service; ala carte service; menu planning; ice creams and sorbets; buffet and banquet service; bread baking; chocolate work; plate design and presentation and other aspects of the patisserie field. This position reports to the Pastry Chef.
