Job summary

Grand Hyatt Deer Valley in Park City, UT is seeking a Hotel Baker/Pastry Cook to prepare all pastry products in accordance with pastry shop standards and to assist higher level bakers.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, maintain high quality, stand for long periods, and be flexible to weekends/holidays. Prior pastry operation experience preferred; knowledge of kitchen equipment required; opportunities for growth and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial baking/pastry operation preferred.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all pastry products as training dictates according to pastry shop standards.
• Assist higher level bakers and contribute to daily pastry production.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Chef.
