Qualifications

• 3-4 years of previous cooking experience including 2 years in pastry cooking.

The Advanced Pastry Cook 3 position at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center focuses on preparation of pastry products for all outlets and banquets, and is responsible for working as part of a creative team and preparing a consistently high quality of pastry products, baked goods and desserts.

Qualifications

Basic requirements for this position:

Requires good communication skills and demonstrate creativity.

3-4 years of previous cooking experience, including at least 2 years of pastry cooking experiencepreferred.

Formal culinary training preferred, but not required.

This position involves following recipe cards and executing verbal tasks with minimal supervision.

• This position involves maintaining a prep inventory, and keeping all items labeled, dated, and rotated for freshness.

This position required the ability to stand for the duration of the shift; and to lift, push and carry a moderate amount of weight.

Hourly rate is $21.85.
