The Opportunity:

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is looking for a Pastry Cook II who will be responsible for preparing culinary masterpieces that represent the exceptional service standards the company has built itself on. Our Cook 2’s service the restaurant outlets including Proof, Talavera, Onyx, Saguaro Blossom, Ocotillo Grill, In-Casita Dining and our Employee Cafeteria. Mid-level position.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare pastry items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service.

  • Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not prepare beyond estimated needs.

  • Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill.

Who We Look For:

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Great attitude as well 2-5 years previous culinary experience and/or culinary degree

  • Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment

  • Valid Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card required

  • Ability to work AM or PM shifts, weekends and holidays
