Job summary

The Cottonwood, part of Davidson Hospitality Group in Omaha, seeks a Pastry Cook to unleash creativity in a fast-paced culinary environment. You will assist in preparing pastries, cakes, and confections and collaborate with Pastry Chefs to elevate desserts for guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years pastry experience.
• College degree or certification in culinary field/hospitality field preferred.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.
• Ability to work extended hours when business necessitates.
• Read, write and speak and understand English.
• Ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, baking, and presentation of a wide variety of pastries, cakes, and confections.
• Collaborate with Pastry Chefs to learn new techniques and elevate dessert offerings.
• Support the pastry team in daily operations and maintain quality presentation.
