Job Title: Seasonal Pastry Chef

A renowned high-end restaurant in Montauk is seeking a Seasonal Pastry Chef to join its dynamic culinary team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

Position Overview

The Pastry Chef will be responsible for executing the restaurant’s established dessert menu with precision and consistency. This role does not involve creative development; it requires strong technical skills, discipline, and the ability to follow exact recipes and plating standards. You will work in a supportive, professional kitchen environment that values efficiency, organization, and excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Execute all plated desserts and pastry items to restaurant standards
  • Manage pastry prep and production to meet service demand
  • Oversee pastry inventory and ordering
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry area
  • Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or hotel pastry kitchen
