Pastry Chef - NYC Award Winning Bakery - work from North Salem / Westchester NY

Join a celebrated, chef-owned artisanal cake company recognized among the best bakeries in New York. We are seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join our passionate, close-knit team in Westchester County, NY.

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, driven pastry professional with experience as a Pastry Sous Chef to grow and contribute to one of the region's most innovative cake programs.

About the Role:

Based in North Salem, NY, the Pastry Chef will collaborate closely with ownership to support daily production, seasonal product development, and R&D projects. You will join a team that values craftsmanship, creativity, and passion for pastry arts.

What We’re Looking For:
  • A positive, motivated individual eager to learn and grow
  • Experience in cake production and pastry fundamentals (extensive experience not required)
  • A collaborative spirit willing to work side-by-side with ownership on creative projects
  • Spanish-speaking skills are a plus but not required
  • Ability to thrive in a small team environment and take ownership of your craft
  • Willingness to drive or relocate (relocation assistance may be available)
Compensation & Schedule:
  • Salary: $80,000–$90,000 annually, based on experience
  • Bonus: Performance bonus after 12 months
  • Schedule: 5 days/week, approximately 8:00 AM–6:00/7:00 PM (~55 hours/week)
  • Benefits: Not currently offered, but potential for future
  • Creative Involvement: Significant opportunity in R&D and new product innovation
