Job Summary

Summary: Creates, plans, and supervises the daily production of top-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Supervises daily production and distribution of all pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
2. Ensures recipes and standards are followed, controls food costs, and prepares appropriate quantities based on needs.
3. Maintains proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
4. Monitors sanitation and maintenance of the pastry kitchen and equipment to meet safety standards.
5. Supervises kitchen/pastry staff, including interviewing, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
6. Helps plan and implement seasonal menus.
7. Orders and maintains pastry supplies and inventory.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
