Job summary

The ARCHDIOCESE OF SEATTLE PAYROLL SERVICES is seeking an organized Faith Formation Coordinator to oversee K-5 programs including Sacramental Preparation. You will supervise weekly classes, ensure catechists attend, and verify supplies for lessons.

Collaborating with the Parish Family Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation, you will input attendance records into ParishStaq and maintain accurate educational inventories. Benefits accompany eligibility.

Job description

POSITION PURPOSE Supports the implementation of Faith Formation Programs for Grades K-5 including Sacramental Preparation.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOversees weekly Faith Formation classes, providing supervision for student check-in. Assures that Catechists are in attendance. Assure Catechists have necessary supplies for their lessons. Communicates with parents as needed for safety and well-being of children.Works closely with Parish Family Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation to meet objectives and goals of the programs.Assures that attendance records for Elementary Faith Formation and Sacramental Preparation are input weekly into ParishStaq data system.SECONDARY FUNCTIONSMaintains inventory of educational supplies and re-orders as appropriate.Performs other duties as assigned.Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.Benefits: Eligible positions receive a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death and disability, long term disability, pension, 403(b), HSA, FSA, and generous sick leave, vacation and holidays.
