Job summary

Community Gospel Church is seeking a full-time Pastor of Discipleship & Groups to provide pastoral leadership for our discipleship pathway and leadership pipeline — including Small Groups, Men's Ministry, and Connections. This role shepherds people from guest to disciple to leader through Scripture, community, and consistent discipleship rhythms.

Theological Fit: We hold to the EFCA Statement of Faith and are looking specifically for a candidate who reads Scripture through a Reformed /

• Provide pastoral oversight of Men's Ministry, moving it from events into discipleship rhythms
• Own the guest to attender to disciple to leader assimilation pathway
• Build a reproducible leadership-development pipeline alongside the elders and staff

This role shepherds people from guest to disciple to leader through Scripture, community, and consistent discipleship rhythms.

Theological Fit: We hold to the EFCA Statement of Faith and are looking specifically for a candidate who reads Scripture through a Reformed / covenantal framework rather than a dispensational one. EFCA's own statement leaves room for both; we're naming our preference up front so we can have that conversation early and honestly.
