Job summary

Christian Career Center is seeking a Lead Pastor to shepherd a growing church, preach faithfully, and cast vision that guides the elders and ministry teams. The role requires strengthening leaders, developing teams, and fostering a God-centered culture in the congregation.

As part of the elder body, you will nurture spiritual growth, provide pastoral care, and model a robust personal walk with God while guiding families and volunteers in service to the church and community.

Qualifications

• Must model a relationship with God that influences life, appetites, and understanding
• Love and nourish your spouse
• Lead your family with gravity, gusto, and gladness
• Proven track record of effective leadership and team development
• Agree with the church’s doctrinal position (Baptist Faith and Message 2000)

Responsibilities

• Preaching and teaching
• Shepherd congregation, staff, volunteers, leaders, and ministry teams
• Provide pastoral care including counseling and hospital visits
• Work with elder body to cultivate vision for the future
• Perform other duties as needed
