Job description

General Qualifications:

The pastor should demonstrate general qualities of Christian character, evidence of a calling to the ministry, and particular strength in the area of equipping ministry. The pastor should be committed to Southern Baptist beliefs and practices.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• A personal conversion experience with Christ.
• A commitment to personal spiritual growth.
• A commitment to biblical giving through the local Church and to lifestyle evangelism and missions.
• A willingness and ability to lead others with a spirit of cooperation meeting the needs of the Church.
• An exemplary family life, with the spouse (if there is one) sympathetic with his ministry and sharing his call to commitment.
