Job summary

Pine Village Christian Church invites a Preaching Elder/Pastor to lead weekly services, visit congregants, and guide the church’s outreach and youth ministries. The role requires joining the Elder Ministry and church board, with a focus on coordinating worship logistics and online presence.

The position is full-time, with a salary commensurate to responsibilities and the candidate's prior experience. An aging mentorship in the church is available to support the transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from an accredited Bible college grounded in Restoration Movement doctrine.
• Experience in pulpit preaching; recordings or online links may be requested.
• Qualified as an elder and overseer per Titus 1:5-9 and 1 Timothy 3:1-7.
• For unmarried candidates, apply Biblical guidance from Ephesians 5:1-4 and Titus 2:6-8.

Responsibilities

• Preach from the pulpit for Sunday worship services.
• Perform pastoral visitations including home, hospital, and funeral visits.
• Be a member of the Elder Ministry and Pine Village Christian Church Board.
• Oversee outreach, evangelism, children’s and youth ministries; coordinate worship logistics.
• Oversee online and social media presence and sermon uploads.
