Job summary

Grace Church in a driftless region of SW Wisconsin seeks a disciple-making leader to advance a gospel-centered, intergenerational ministry. Primary focus on discipleship with meaningful involvement in worship and preaching. You will develop leaders, recruit volunteers, and shepherd families across all ages.

The role collaborates with the senior pastor and elders, with housing allowance, benefits, and relocation support provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Must have ministry degree or equivalent.
• EFCA credential or license (or obtain within 3 years; ordination within 5).
• Proven experience multiplying disciple-makers, developing leaders, recruiting volunteers, and relating well to people.
• Solid organizational skills to manage ministries, budgets, and volunteers.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Alignment with Discipleship Strategy, Constitution, By‑laws, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Discipleship (primary focus): identify and develop people/processes for effective discipleship of all ages per the Discipleship Strategy.
• Support youth & family ministry leaders/volunteers in program administration, development, and volunteer recruitment.
• Provide training, resources, and instruction for youth/family and worship ministry leaders/volunteers.
• Encourage spiritual gift utilization and identify service opportunities within the body.
• Promote intergenerational ministries to reveal God’s work across generations.
• Worship: lead music in worship services ~1×month; train and equip worship leaders and team members.
• Preaching & Leadership: preach up to 12 times/year; serve as ex-officio elder; collaborate with senior pastor; participate in committees/teams.
