Church In The Son in Orlando, Florida, seeks a Spirit-filled worship pastor to lead our Sunday services with passion and authenticity. You will collaborate with Creative Arts leaders and the Lead Pastor to plan worship experiences, mentor emerging musicians, and grow a vibrant worship ministry with a team of volunteers.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pastor with a heart for worship
• Strong vocal and instrumental ability, musician highly preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office, Apple, and Google tools
• A collaborative spirit and creative spark for worship leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead as the primary frontline worship leader for Sunday services
• Lead weekly team meetings to plan music flow, song selection and service order
• Collaborate with Creative Arts leaders, while working closely with the Lead Pastor to plan teaching series
• Partner in creative sessions to dream up fresh ideas for services, ministry programs and events
• Lead production team to ensure lighting and audio for each service and event
• Collaborate on song selection and arrangements to craft meaningful worship sets
• Mentor, encourage, and develop emerging worship leaders and musicians
• Build worship band by developing and training upcoming musicians
• Keep Worship Ministry database updated and organized
• Schedule and communicate with volunteers, providing charts and music resources
• Support Next-Gen worship and special events as needed
• Assist with stage designs, set concepts, and coordination of events

What You’ll Do

• Lead weekly team meetings to plan and coordinate music flow, song selection and service order.
• Collaborate with the Creative Arts leaders, while working closely with the Lead Pastor to plan and develop teaching series that fulfill his vision for the church.
• Partner in creative sessions to dream up fresh ideas and powerful elements for services, ministry programs, and events.
• Lead production team to ensure appropriate lighting and audio for every service experience and event.
• Collaborate on song selection and arrangements to craft meaningful worship sets.
• Mentor, encourage, and develop emerging worship leaders and musicians.
• Build worship band by developing and training upcoming musicians.
• Keep our Worship Ministry database updated and organized.
• Schedule and communicate with volunteers, providing charts and music resources.
• Support Next-Gen worship and special events as needed.

What You Bring
