Job summary

Thank you for your interest in our position of Pastor/Shepherd at Cortaro Vista Community Church. A clear understanding of your work background and spiritual and theological beliefs will help us in evaluating your potential for ministry here at CVCC. 1. A letter of introduction including a brief summary of how you feel your gifts and ministry experiences may be a possible fit to serve as the Pastor/Shepherd of Cortaro Vista Community Church.

2. A resume and/or a minister profile. A resume should at least include contact info, ministry experience, and education. If you have the ability to complete and submit a longer minister profile (some denominations have a template or list of questions to respond to), that will give us even more of an introduction to who you are as well as your background, ministry experience, beliefs, and passions. You are welcome to include both a resume and minister profile if you have them.

3. References (at least three) that can speak to your gifts, character and/or ministry experience. These references will not be contacted without your prior permission. We ask that you provide references that meet these qualifications:

   1. Someone who can speak about your ministry gifts and experiences
   2. A current or former parishioner (familiar with your preaching and leadership)
   3. A colleague or friend (not a family member)

4. Links to view two sermons. Submitted sermons should be a good representation of your typical style/approach to preaching. Sermons will be viewed after a candidate's initial interview.
