Job summary

California Pizza Kitchen in Wellington, FL is seeking a part-time Pasta Cook to join our service team. You will prepare pastas, sandwiches, and grilled items with a focus on quality and safety, while supporting opening/closing duties and station prep.

This role requires 3–6 months of related kitchen experience or training and a positive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced environment. Our team offers flexible shifts, extensive training, and dining discounts as part of the weekly schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards for food quality and sanitation.
• Assure timely and accurate preparation of pastas, sandwiches, and grilled items.
• Support line checks and complete prep par sheets each shift.
• Prepare all necessary items for the station as needed.
• Practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, countertops, knives, and equipment.
• Maintain proper temperature of equipment and perform station opening/closing and side work duties.
