Job summary

Goldbelt is seeking a Deckhand to assist in operating and maintaining 150-passenger vessels, applying emergency procedures, and supporting the crew with line handling, cleaning, and passenger assistance.

Responsibilities include line handling, docking support, fuel/water intake, trash removal, basic maintenance, and active participation in emergency drills, with occasional overnight stays at Kensington Mine when needed.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with emergency procedures and safety systems on vessels.
• Ability to handle vessels, docking, and basic maintenance.
• Strong communication and customer service skills for public interaction.

Responsibilities

• Handle lines, fuel and water, gangways, and trash removal; perform basic vessel and engine maintenance.
• Participate in emergency procedures, follow checklists, and explain actions for incidents.
• Assist with training crew during drills and safety exercises.
