Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking a Local Auto Auction Driver to shuttle passenger vehicles to and from auto auctions and nearby dealerships within the Dallas area. This is a long-term, non-CDL driving role suitable for reliable individuals who enjoy local routes and teamwork.

This is a 1099 contract position with on-site work at the Dallas Alliance Auto Auction location. Pay is $12 per hour with a schedule of about 34 hours per week, typically on weekdays with some variance as noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Good driving record required.
• Successful MVR, background and drug test.
• Ability to get in and out of vehicles repeatedly.
• Must maintain adequate vision, depth perception, and traffic-signal awareness.
• Smartphone required.

Responsibilities

• Drive passenger vehicles to and from auto auctions and nearby dealerships or storage lots.
• Ride in a company shuttle van with other drivers to and from the pickup and drop-off locations.
• Follow other vehicles or chase van in front of you.
• Follow safe driving procedures.
• Scan vehicles with a smartphone.
• Perform a walk-around visual inspection for damage before driving.
• Work as part of a team to provide efficient and safe pickup and delivery of vehicles.

We are looking for LONG TERM Roadrunners who enjoying driving in their local area. This IS NOT A TEMPORARY or SEASONAL job.

Job Scope

Requirements

• 21+ years of age

• Ability to get in and out of vehicles repeatedly during the day
• Ability to see clearly near and far, maintain adequate peripheral vision and perceive depth and motion as well as distinguish traffic signals and sounds.
• Smart Phone

**Marijuana use or impairment is prohibited while driving or on assignment, regardless of legality or medical authorization**

Pay: $12 per hour

Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday Approximately 34 hours

*Arrive 15 minutes before scheduled time for check-in and security procedures
