The role covers check-in, boarding, mobility support, and guidance throughout the airport to ensure timely arrivals at gates and connecting flights. The ideal candidate provides empathetic customer service, assists with wheelchairs and luggage, and stays informed about schedules, delays, and gate changes.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Physical ability to assist passengers, including pushing wheelchairs and handling luggage.
• Familiarity with airport operations and procedures.
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including use of iPads/Tablets, Computers and Mobile Devices.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal as applicable).
• Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to passengers throughout the airport, including check-in, boarding, and arrival areas.
• Assist passengers with mobility issues, including the use of wheelchairs and other aids.
• Guide passengers through security checkpoints and customs areas.
• Offer information and directions regarding airport facilities, gates, and services.
• Help with luggage handling and transportation within the airport.
• Collaborate with airline staff to ensure passenger needs are met.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
• Stay informed about flight schedules, delays, and gate changes.
