Job summary

State of Ohio is seeking a PASRR Program Coordinator (Rehabilitation Program Specialist 2) to support statewide PASRR processes and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves coordinating across providers, contributing to policy development, and improving operational efficiency in a collaborative, service-oriented environment.

The position is housed in the PASRR Bureau at Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus, with standard M-F hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm and union representation.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a human service field as required by an accredited college or university.
• Graduate degree leading to licensure as a licensed professional counselor.
• Graduate degree in other related vocational rehabilitation areas.
• Graduate field of study in human services; 12 months exp. as Rehabilitation Program Specialist 1.
• Bachelor’s degree in professional human services field; licensure pathways may apply.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical documents and records using clinical expertise.
• Apply federal and state PASRR regulations and evolving state policy.
• Make determinations and develop placement and treatment recommendations.
• Coordinate PASRR program requirements for individuals transitioning to nursing facilities.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare program communications.
• Perform outcome reviews and develop analytical reports.
• Create and maintain PASRR databases, spreadsheets, and dashboards.
• Identify workflow improvements within the bureau’s quality framework.
