Essential Functions

• Coordinate and oversee the patient registration process, ensuring timely and accurate collection of patient information.
• Verify insurance coverage for patients and ensure accurate and complete documentation of insurance information.
• Coordinate patient admissions in collaboration with healthcare providers, nurses, and other relevant staff.
• Provide financial counseling to patients, explaining insurance coverage, billing processes, and payment options.
• Provide support to a team of registration staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, including privacy laws.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study preferred.

Licenses and Credentials

• Experience: Experience in healthcare registration or patient accounts. 3-5 years required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of healthcare registration processes, insurance verification, and billing procedures.
