The PAS Clinician is responsible for the emergency clinical assessment of patients, conveying clinical findings and initial recommendations to the PAS Doctor. They work in collaboration with the PAS Doctor to define options for the appropriate level of care.
Requirements:
Education: LMHC or LICSW strongly preferred; MSW or Master's Degree in Counseling required. LCSW must be obtained within 6 months; LICSW must be completed within two years. LICSW is required to work in ambulatory assessment services with hospital privileging.
Training and Experience: Knowledge and/or previous experience working within the Rhode Island mental health or substance abuse systems.
Schedule: 20/40 Part-Time Evenings, Monday - Friday 6 pm - 10 pm
