Position Overview: Oncology Nurse Practitioner

• Contract Duration: Immediate start for 6 months, with the possibility of extension
• Work Environment: Outpatient Clinic
• Primary Responsibilities: Focus on follow-up care for established patients at 3, 6, and 12-month intervals. Duties include coordinating communications with ancillary services, ordering oncology-related diagnostics, and managing prescription refills. Follow-ups will primarily involve patients currently on treatment (pending candidate qualifications).
• Work Schedule: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 4-day workweek (10-hour shifts). Flexibility in scheduling is preferred.
• Call Duties: No call responsibilities associated with this position.
• Patient Volume: Anticipated daily patient load of approximately 20, with additional responsibilities in email management and follow-up communications.
• Support Team: Nurse Practitioners will be supported by Medical Assistants and Case Managers for comprehensive care coordination.
