Requirements

• Position Overview: Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Coverage Purpose: Temporary access during recruitment phase
• Duration: Immediate start for 6 months with an extension option
• Work Environment: Outpatient clinic
• Responsibilities:
  • Focus on follow-up appointments for patients on treatment, scheduled at intervals of 3, 6, and 12 months.
  • Engage in coordination of care through emails with ancillary services.
  • Responsible for ordering oncology-related tests and refilling prescriptions.
  • Manage a patient panel composed of follow-up and on-treatment individuals, dependent on candidate’s capabilities.
• Schedule & Availability:
  • Working hours from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, involving four 10-hour shifts per week, with a preference for flexible scheduling.
  • No on-call responsibilities required.
• Patient Load: Anticipated caseload of approximately 20 patients per day, with additional duties related to administrative tasks such as emails and follow-ups.
• Support Structure: The NP will be assisted by Medical Assistants (MA) and Case Managers responsible for care coordination.
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Utilization of EPIC system for patient documentation and management.
• Qualifications:
