Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude and/or experience with operator tasks
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to use measurement tools accurately
• Familiarity with mechanical/electrical systems is helpful

Responsibilities

• Operate parylene deposition systems and related equipment (vacuum ovens, plasma etchers, tumble coaters, etc.)
• Follow MSPs and leadership instructions to maintain high-quality results
• Prepare and process customer parts through cleaning, masking, fixturing, coating, demasking and packaging
• Load machines, monitor runs, and verify coating thickness using measurement tools
• Perform routine maintenance and light refurbishing on equipment
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation for quality control and equipment performance
• Read and interpret customer drawings and specifications
• Assist with fixturing and cleaning of parts, and support shipping and other tasks as needed
• Follow all safety policies and participate in FAA/DOT testing as required
