Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is hiring Birthday Party Hosts in the United States. You will be the life of the party, welcoming guests, guiding scheduled activities, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met throughout events.

You will interact with guests to create memorable experiences, monitor activities, and assist the party planner as needed. Prior food/beverage or hosting experience helps, but passion for service wins. All centers emphasize fun, teamwork and safety.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Greet guests and act as Host throughout the event.
• Engage with party guests to create memorable experiences.
• Monitor events, anticipate needs and assist the party planner.
• Gather and store gifts and cake when applicable.
• Process payments and greet guests on return visits.
• Set up, break down and clean before/after each party.

Job Description: At Main Event, our Party Hosts are the life of the party and create unforgettable birthday memories! As a Party Host, you are enthusiastic and relentless in creating FUN birthday celebrations, all while having a little fun yourself! You know the details of the event inside and out and can manage the scheduled birthday activities, so our birthday parents don’t have to! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

What will you be doing daily?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcoming and engaging with arriving birthday parties and serving as their Host throughout their scheduled activities (let’s get this party started!)
• Creating memorable experiences by interacting and engaging with the party Guests throughout the birthday event
• Ensuring memorable birthday experiences by monitoring events, anticipating party needs, and aiding the party parent/party planner
• Gathering and storing birthday gifts and cake (if applicable)
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after each party event

Position Requirements

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus, but not required
• Guest focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends

Salary Compensation is from $13 - $16.5 per hour

Salary Range: 7.25 - 16.5
