Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of field surveying, strong knowledge of surveying principles, and experience with robotic total stations and GPS/GNSS, with a valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise an assigned survey field crew.
• Perform boundary, topographic, construction and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys.
• Review project scope, plans, plats, legal descriptions and available survey information prior to field work.
• Operate robotic total stations, GPS/GNSS and survey data collection equipment.
• Perform survey calculations and maintain accurate field notes, sketches and electronic records.
• Identify field conflicts and communicate project status with office staff.
• Train and develop junior field personnel.
• Maintain survey equipment, field vehicles and supplies.
• Ensure field work follows appropriate safety and traffic-control procedures.
• Coordinate with project managers and office personnel to complete projects accurately and efficiently.

• Perform and oversee boundary, topographic, construction and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys
• Review project scope, plans, plats, legal descriptions and available survey information prior to field work
• Operate robotic total stations, GPS/GNSS and survey data collection equipment
• Perform survey calculations and maintain accurate field notes, sketches and electronic records
• Identify field conflicts and communicate project status with office staff
• Train and develop junior field personnel
