Job summary

COPA STC in Walnut Creek is seeking a lively Party Coach to lead birthday parties and events for kids. You’ll run soccer-based games, keep safety a priority, and deliver an engaging, high-energy experience.

Weekend availability is required on Saturdays and Sundays. You will set up and break down activities, coordinate with parents and staff, and help ensure every party runs smoothly and memorably.

Qualifications

• Available both Saturday and Sunday every weekend.
• Prior experience with children in sports, recreation, camps, or childcare preferred.
• High energy, positive attitude, and strong communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and with a team.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate birthday parties and events, ensuring a fun and safe experience.
• Deliver engaging soccer or activities suitable for each age group.
• Set up and break down party areas before and after events.
• Communicate clearly with parents, children, and staff for smooth transitions.
• Support Party Lead and front desk in maintaining organization and timing.
• Assist with equipment setup, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent COPA STC enthusiastically.
• Adapt quickly to changing group sizes or party dynamics.

Position Overview

The Party Coach plays a key role in creating fun, active, and memorable birthday parties and special events at COPA STC. Party Coaches lead groups of children through games, activities, and soccer-themed challenges while maintaining a positive, safe, and engaging environment. This role requires high energy, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills. Weekend availability on both Saturday and Sunday is required. This is a highly interactive, customer-facing role ideal for individuals who enjoy working with kids and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
