The Villages, Middleton, FL-based surveying team at Clymer Farner Barley, Inc. (CFB) is seeking a Party Chief to lead a field crew on land and construction surveys. You’ll ensure accurate data collection, proper equipment care, and seamless communication between field and office teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years as a Party Chief/Crew Chief, proficiency with GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors, plus strong leadership and safety discipline. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of land surveying experience as Party Chief/Crew Chief
• Proficiency with GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors
• Strong understanding of land surveying methods and terminology
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures

Responsibilities

Job Description

As a Party Chief at CFB, you will lead a field crew in conducting a variety of land and construction surveys. This role is critical to ensuring accurate field data collection, proper equipment care, and seamless communication between field and office teams. You’ll play a key part in project execution while mentoring newer team members and staying up to date with surveying technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a field crew in conducting various land and construction surveys.
