Job summary

LJA is seeking experienced field survey professionals in Denver, CO who take pride in accuracy and teamwork. You will conduct boundary, topographic and construction surveys, operate survey instruments, and locate property corners for client projects.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliability; a HS/GED is required with 5+ years of field surveying experience. AutoCAD familiarity and safety training are advantageous.

General Responsibilities:

• Accurately calculates and records field data
• Reviews job specifications and plans field work methods and costs
• Operates survey instruments, manual and power tools to obtain data
• Locates and identifies property corners
• Stakes and measures control points
• Prepares and maintains inventory of equipment and materials

Required Education/Licenses:

• HS Graduate or GED

Required Experience:

• 5+ years extensive field and survey experience in boundary, topographic and construction surveying
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional lifting/carrying a minimum of 25 lbs. and up to 50 lbs.
• Driving to and from various project sites.

Additional Skills/Certifications preferred but not required:

• AutoCAD
• Safety Training Classes
