Job description

We are looking for a part-time, seasonal Veterinary Technician to join our team! This position offers flexible hours, we can work around your schedule (up to 30 hours per week). This is a temporary position.

What You’ll Do: As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play a key role in the care and treatment of shelter animals. Your responsibilities will include:

Assist the shelter veterinarians with surgeries, medical procedures, and routine exams

Assist with administering vaccinations, injections, and microchipping

Conducting and interpreting results for basic lab diagnostics (e.g., ear cytology, skin scrapes, DTMs)

Supporting our mission by ensuring the animals receive high-quality, compassionate care

What We’re Looking For:

Quick learners who are eager to grow in the veterinary or animal care field

Individuals who align with our mission and believe in the importance of animal welfare

Confident with handling a variety of animals

Comfortable restraining animals and assisting Certified Euthanasia Technicians with the humane euthanasia process

Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, animal shelter, or similar setting
