Job Summary:

We are looking for a Home Care Aide(s) to join our team immediately! You will be directly working with an elderly woman in Gettysburg, PA, following a one-on-one care plan in her home. You will operate with a big heart, not only by providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets this client's needs. Prior Home Care or Hospice experience is a plus.

Hours: 12pm-5pm two days a week.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
  2. Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, or assisting with personal care.
  3. Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
  4. Give medications and immunizations.
  5. Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
  6. Dementia-related (and redirective) care.

Qualifications:

  1. Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program or
  2. High School Diploma or GED.
  3. Two years of prior professional experience.
  4. Driver’s license required.
