We are looking for an RN or LPN who is interested in working Saturday and Sunday 12-hour shifts, either night or day, as a part-time position with the flexibility to add a 12-hour shift during the week to transition to a full-time role.

Job Description:

We seek a compassionate and dedicated night shift Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals recover from substance abuse and addiction. This part-time role involves working 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, with the option to add a weekday shift for full-time employment.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide nursing care and support to patients undergoing drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
2. Assess patients' physical and emotional well-being, monitor vital signs and symptoms, and administer medications as needed.
3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
4. Educate patients and families about addiction, recovery, and coping strategies.
5. Support patients through detoxification and withdrawal processes.
6. Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
7. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

Qualifications:

1. Active RN or LPN license in Kansas.
2. Experience in drug and alcohol rehabilitation or substance abuse treatment preferred.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment with empathy and professionalism.
5. Knowledge of addiction treatment protocols.
6. BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
