Lifestyle Properties is seeking a Housekeeping Team Member in McMinnville, Oregon. The role includes cleaning and preparing rental properties to exacting standards, with attention to detail and efficiency.

You will work alongside the housekeeping team to ensure returns are guest-ready, including laundry tasks, restocking, and vehicle upkeep. Compensation starts at $16.00 per hour with wage based on experience; overtime is possible with management approval.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rental properties are cleaned and readied for the next guest per all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Follow all applicable guidelines and standards to fully clean, sanitize, and prepare the property for occupancy after guest departures.
• Ensure all linens are cleaned, washed, folded, and stored in the company laundry and prep room.
• Sort, stain-treat, load washers/dryers, and fold clean laundry for distribution to properties.
• Professionally clean properties to Lifestyle standards: dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, sanitize surfaces.
• Assist with laundry and stain treating; report damages or missing items to management.
• Pack and load items needed for cleaning; replenish consumables in properties.
• Utilize the company housekeeping van and restock your assigned vehicle.

Housekeeping Team Member Job Description

The Housekeeping staff members are a key component of our Hospitality team. The key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that every rental property is cleaned and made ready for the next guest by fully utilizing the allotted cleaning hours for each specific property, and following all company guidelines and applicable industry best practices and standards. We want every guest who walks into our rentals to feel as if they are the first person to have stayed in that house; Every time.

We believe our housekeeping team is a core pillar of Destination Willamette, and expect every team member to take ownership to ensure each and every standard practice is being met every time, and that we are providing our guests with exceptional experiences above their expectations. The Housekeeping Team is required to fully utilize the allotted cleaning hours for each property and to have keen attention to detail to ensure the property is fully cleaned up to or above the company standards for cleanliness.

Essential Responsibilities

• Ensure rental properties are cleaned and readied for the next guest per all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• In accordance with the daily schedule, and working along with other Housekeeping Team members, follow all applicable guidelines and standards to fully clean, sanitize, and otherwise prepare the rental property for occupancy after guest departures.
• Ensure all linens (sheets, bedspreads, towels, etc) are cleaned, washed, folded, and stored in the company laundry and prep room ready for distribution to rental properties.
• This includes sorting of dirty laundry returned from rental properties, stain treated any pieces that require treatment, loading of machines, flipping laundry from washers to dryers, and folding all clean and dried laundry.

Day to Day Duties

• Professionally clean properties up to Lifestyle standards including:
• Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces
• Assist with laundry and stain treating
• Identify and report any damages or missing items to management
• Pack and load all items needed for cleaning the homes
• Replenish consumable items such as paper products, teas, sugars, coffee creamers, etc.
• Utilize the company housekeeping van for cleaning shifts and clean/restock your assigned vehicle at the end of your day.

Periodic Duties

• Deep clean properties newly added to the portfolio to ensure they are ready for launch to guest occupancy.
• Clean and sanitize the Housekeeping vehicles, ensuring that kits are fully stocked and vehicles are looking presentable and professional.
• Clean and sanitize the Pinot Car vehicles to refresh and ready vehicles for wine tours on an as-needed basis. (per the schedule); this includes assisting in the stocking of cleaning supplies for the Pinot Car staff to be able to perform daily cleaning of vehicles.
