$14/hr- Springhill Suites Augusta Springhill Suites Augusta is looking for an experienced professional front desk agent who is looking for part-time hours. We have the need for up to four days per week, depending on the business needs. We need someone who is flexible to work mornings (7a-3p) and evenings (3p-11p). Hotel front desk experience is a plus, but not required. Do you have a passion for service and love to put a smile on people’s faces? You’ll welcome guests, manage their account information, and ensure they have everything they need for an exceptional stay. Responsibilities: • Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests’ needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs • Handle customer complaints as necessary • Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct • Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers • Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests Qualifications: • Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills • 1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Compensation: $14 - $15 hourly
