WHAT IS KIDSTRONG?

At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. KidStrong is a training program for children aged 1-11 that employs certified coaches to develop their skills, confidence, and strength—preparing them to succeed in life.

KidStrong South Florida is rapidly expanding, and we are seeking a talented, enthusiastic children’s coach who is passionate, energetic, and eager to positively influence kids and their parents.

Role and Schedule Details:

We seek a coach with athletic, coaching, or teaching experience, preferably with children aged 12 months to 11 years. The coach will focus on brain, physical, and character development based on our evolving monthly curriculum.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating with parents about the curriculum’s purpose and benefits.

Our classes typically run on weekdays from 9 am to 11 am and evenings until 7 pm, with weekend sessions from 8 am to 2 pm. Flexible scheduling is available based on center needs. Additional hours may be available through private parties, summer camps, parents’ night out, and field trips.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead classes of 6 to 15 children, ages 12 months to 11 years.
  • Implement the KidStrong curriculum as provided by HQ.
  • Ensure classes start and end on time, maintaining appropriate pacing.
  • Greet children and parents/guardians at the start of each class.
  • Maintain a dynamic, fun, and professional demeanor.
  • Demonstrate exercises and monitor proper technique and safety.
  • Keep the center clean and sanitized, including taking out trash, sweeping, mopping, and equipment cleaning.
  • Record class data and communicate updates via the KS Coach’s App.
  • Use Slack for professional communication with team members.
  • Complete required training through LearnUpon.
  • Work in a physically active environment, including moving equipment and assisting children.
  • Support children, especially those three and under, with class flow and safety.
  • Attend monthly staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Obtain certified status from HQ.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for working with children is essential.
  • Experience coaching children aged 1-11 is preferred.
  • Experience communicating with parents about curriculum is a plus.
  • Knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills.
  • Self-motivated and reliable.
