Job summary

Lake Life Farms is seeking a part-time budtender to work weekends and some weekday afternoons in Cedar Springs, MI. The role supports the store manager and involves a range of duties across the store, with 15-20 hours per week and weekend-only requirements.

Responsibilities include customer engagement, product knowledge, cash handling, and familiarity with METRC tracking. A background in cannabis products is preferred, with dispensary experience valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis products required.
• Dispensary experience preferred, not required.
• Friendly, outgoing, trustworthy, dependable, entrepreneurial, and hardworking.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• No felonies on record and must pass background check.
• Must provide past job references and have a good work history.
• Must be able to count back change and perform basic math.
• Must be able to use POS software without errors.

Job description

Lake Life Farms is in search of a part-time budtender to work weekends and occasional afternoon weeknight shifts.

Budtenders will work directly under the store Manager and will assist in accomplishing a multitude of tasks, on each end of the store. You will be required to work every weekend and some weekdays. 15-20 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure all customer identifications are valid and up to date
• Work directly with customers to ensure everyone is engaged by means of a streamlined system
• Have knowledge of product, and be able to recommend certain products for individuals
• Basic cash handling and point of sale knowledge
• Ensure store is always well maintained and clean
• Work directly with product, ensuring proper packaging and weight amounts
• Have an understanding of METRC, and how products are tracked
• Be responsive to new methods and ideas that are presented

Qualifications

• Experiences in retail sales preferred
• Knowledge of cannabis products
• Dispensary Experience Preferred, not required
