Paluch Law is a healthcare and life sciences law firm located in Los Angeles, CA. We are seeking a part-time attorney with 3-5 years of experience to assist with legal projects on an as-needed basis. The role involves research and contract work, primarily remotely. Join a team that offers pragmatic, risk-based legal advice to healthcare businesses, with a flexible schedule and a focus on work/life balance.

Core responsibilities:

  • Research and summarize legal and regulatory requirements affecting healthcare and life sciences industries
  • Review, analyze, draft, and negotiate various contracts such as licensing, clinical trial, manufacturing, consulting services, distribution, and payer agreements
  • Create presentations to educate clients on legal and enforcement environments
  • Review and comment on legal documents like letters and compliance policies
  • Review promotional and scientific exchange materials for clients
  • Begin to counsel clients on legal risks impacting their businesses
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 3-5 years’ experience, ideally combining firm and in-house roles
  • Licensed to practice law in California
  • Experience in contract analysis, drafting, and negotiation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong commitment to legal ethics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Canva; strong PowerPoint skills are a plus
  • Some experience in healthcare or life sciences is preferred
