Alta Equipment Company is seeking a full-time Parts Warehouse Specialist for our Construction Equipment Group at our Northwood, Ohio location.

The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring customer satisfaction, including internal customers
• Checking in, unpacking, and storing delivered parts
• Picking, packaging, and preparing parts for delivery

Additional duties:

• Delivering parts orders to customer locations
• Maintaining department order and cleanliness
• Assisting in physical inventory counts
• Incorporating Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities
• Performing other assigned duties
• Maintaining consistent, reliable attendance and being ready at the designated start time

Qualifications:

• Clean driving record; ability to obtain DOT medical card and drive DOT vehicles across state lines
• High school diploma/GED
• Basic mechanical understanding and ability to identify parts by sight and name
• Excellent communication and professionalism
• Proper phone etiquette
• Forklift operation experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Epicor/Silk systems, and vendor web portals
• Basic reading, writing, and comprehension skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to follow instructions and solve problems with concrete variables

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

• Regular use of hands, talking, hearing; sitting frequently; standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling occasionally
• Vision: close and distance, color perception, focus adjustment
• Lift/move up to 25 pounds frequently; 26-100+ pounds occasionally
• Work near moving mechanical parts occasionally
