Job summary

Shaheen Chevrolet is seeking a full-time wholesale parts shipping and receiving associate for a day shift in Lansing, MI. The role involves receiving and shipping parts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience in warehouse/returns, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and with a team. Compensation ranges from $16–$19 per hour, with benefits starting after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience in warehouse/returns with 1+ year tenure preferred.
• Ability to work with others and independently, strong attention to detail and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Report stock discrepancies to manager daily.
• Inspect shipments for damage and quantity; stock all parts in correct bin daily.
• Check in UPS/Gm GM parts and package/ship returns promptly.
• Write up core returns and claims daily.
• Assign new parts to bins and manage locations daily.
• Manage special and emergency orders and notify appropriate person.
• Maintain bins, racks, and equipment; request repairs as needed.
• Count and verify all parts delivered; sign for them daily.
• Assist in loading/unloading parts from trucks; operate fork truck as needed.
• Stock and post incoming orders; notify when special parts arrive.
• Return parts and cores to reflect credit; assist in annual inventory.
