Job summary

Diamond Factory Service in Bartlett, IL is hiring a Full-time Parts Warehouse Clerk to receive, store, stock and distribute parts for a 30+ technician operation. You will handle deliveries, prepare parts for technician routes, monitor inventory, and support shipping and paperwork to the corporate office, with a focus on accuracy and reliability at a busy location.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and a valid driver’s license; knowledge of warehouse

Responsibilities

• Accept parts deliveries each day, entering information into the system and locating parts.
• Gather parts for technician routes and ensure parts and paperwork are correct.
• Monitor missing parts for daily routes and inform dispatcher.
• Ensure courier has necessary information for deliveries to technicians.
• Return unused parts to inventory promptly.
• Research part issues with distributor, courier, technicians and office.
• Monitor parts aging and overall inventory levels.
• Prepare month-end information and track inventory in systems.
• Inspect parts when necessary and ship orders to customers.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with procedures.

Parts Warehouse Clerk

Diamond Factory Service is currently hiring a Full-time Parts Warehouse Clerk for our Bartlett IL location. This person will perform various activities such as receiving, storing, stocking and distributing parts for a 30+ technician location.

Specific Duties

• Accept parts deliveries each day, entering key information into system and managing the location of each part.


• Gather parts for technician’s routes and ensure parts/paperwork are correct.


• Monitor missing parts for each day’s routes and inform dispatcher.


• Ensure courier has necessary information to deliver parts to technicians


• Return unused parts to inventory in a timely manner.


• Research parts returned/missing from technicians each day to determine appropriate action.


• Research part issues with distributor, courier, technicians and office.


• Send paperwork to corporate office.


• Monitor parts aging.


• Monitor inventory.


• Assemble month end information.


• Track inventory in appropriate systems.


• Inspect parts when necessary.


• Ship orders to customers.


• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, workstations and shipping area neat and complying with procedures, rules and regulations.


• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent


• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities


• Attention to detail


• Ability to regularly lift up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and move up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift and move up to 70 lbs.


• Ability to frequently stand, stoop, kneel and crouch


• Knowledge of warehouse/inventory processes desired


• Valid driver’s license
