Job summary

General Equipment & Supplies, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to support Parts, Service and Sales by shipping, receiving and pulling parts. You will maintain inventory counts and balance efficiency with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires forklift experience, solid knowledge of Word/Excel/Access/MS Outlook, and systems for purchase orders. Candidates should demonstrate teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while coordinating

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a requirement.
• Excellent customer service skills, both internal and external customers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, MS Outlook, Purchase Order systems and Distributor Operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs in procurement, ordering, shipping, and receiving of inventory.
• Ship and receive parts and record all incoming parts into inventory.
• Pull and stage parts for work orders.
• Stock shelves and organize parts locations.
• Communicate and coordinate with other branches on transfers of parts.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse.
• Enter accurate information into our computerized inventory system.
