Job summary

Hendrick Automotive Group's Wilmington dealership is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to process the inbound and outbound parts through the Parts Department. This role emphasizes accurate receipt, inventory placement, and proper documentation, ensuring parts are available when needed.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, moving materials with a forklift, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills to use the timekeeping system and inventory software.
• Strong reading and math abilities for counts and packing slips.
• Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Controls receipt of inventory and verifies packing slips against shipments.
• Stocks parts in correct bin locations and reports shortages.
• Loads/unloads trucks and may operate a forklift.
• Maintains organized, clean, and safe work area within the Parts Department.
• Records hours worked accurately and follows safety policies.
• Notifies staff of special orders and participates in required training.
