Parts Warehouse Associate - Fowler Dodge

Fowler Automotive has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven, and experienced Parts Warehouse Associate. This position will work with the parts manager and warehouse manager to ensure proper control of the parts inventory and related administrative functions.

Job Responsibilities :

1. Receive shipments and verify both the order and the quantities.
2. Stock incoming orders and assign bin locations for all new parts daily.
3. Pick parts for counter salesmen.
4. Check in returned parts, provide invoice copies to counterpersons, locate, and restock the parts.
5. Assist in pulling, boxing, labeling, and preparing paperwork for shipments.
6. Participate in annual parts inventory and returns.
7. Maintain a clean and organized parts area.
8. Assist parts drivers with deliveries.
9. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
10. Take orders for pick-ups or deliveries confidently.
11. Deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
12. Unload trucks nightly, handle paperwork, and return cash or checks with proper invoices to the cashier.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and acceptable MVR.
• Professional communication with customers.
• Ability to operate a vehicle in heavy traffic and drive up to 250 miles per day.
• Courtesy, professionalism, and adherence to traffic laws while driving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education and / or Experience

High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand, walk, handle, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. Occasionally sit, climb, or balance. Must lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and over 50 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Language Skills

Ability to read and understand instructions, memos, and communicate effectively in small groups and one-on-one.
