Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia is seeking a Parts Warehouse/Delivery Driver to pull stock orders, deliver parts to customers and other Yancey stores, and keep the warehouse organized.

You will perform daily cycle counts, bin locate items, inspect cores, and help with loading/unloading while maintaining safety and quality. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, forklift certification, a clean driving record, and can lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Able to obtain forklift certification.
Clean driving record and ability to obtain and maintain a DOT card.
Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively and occasionally higher amounts with assistive devices.
Willingness to work in hot/cold weather conditions.
Attention to detail and basic computer skills (email, internet, data entry).
Problem solving and multitasking with safety and customer focus.
Be self-driven and take pride in your work.
Preferred experience in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Perform and enter daily cycle counts each morning before stock receipt or billing.
Receive stock orders and bin locate items awaiting locations.
Inspect worn cores before issuing credit and review credits issued.
Pull and prepare orders, including branch transfers and customer loading.
Deliver parts to customers and other stores using a company vehicle.
Maintain a clean warehouse; sweep and organize daily.
Process and return cores weekly and respond to warranty parts returns weekly.
Purge unneeded items from warranty hold areas monthly.

What You Will Be Doing:

As the Parts Warehouse/Delivery Driver you will be responsible for pulling stock orders for customers, technicians and other stores in the Yancey family. The Parts Warehouse/Delivery Driver will also be responsible for daily cycle counts, maintaining a clean warehouse and making deliveries to customers and other Yancey stores as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform and enter daily cycle counts each morning prior to receiving stock or billing out any items.
Receive all stock orders each day and properly bin locate any items that do not already have bin locations assigned.
Inspect worn cores before issuing credit.
Review all part and core credits issued from previous day to verify receipt.
Build hoses utilizing proper assembly and contamination control techniques.
Pull all orders in a timely manner including branch transfers received prior to cut-off, delivering shop orders, and assisting customers with loading.
Maintain a clean warehouse by sweeping and cleaning each day.
Process and return cores each week.
Respond to all warranty parts return requests each week.
Purge unneeded items from warranty hold areas monthly.
Deliver parts to customers, as well as pickup outside purchases and core returns, while operating a company owned vehicle in a responsible, safe manner.

Additional Responsibilities:

Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Education/Experience:

High school or equivalent
