Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Pooler, GA, is seeking a Parts Warehouse/Delivery Driver to pull stock, support technicians and other stores, perform daily cycle counts, and maintain accurate bin locations.

You will deliver parts to customers, assist with loading, and help maintain a clean, safe warehouse while adhering to safety and quality standards. Forklift certification and the ability to lift 50 lbs are required; a valid driver's license and clean MVR are a must.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Valid, active driver's license and ability to clear driver screenings.
Must obtain forklift certification and pass DOT-related checks.
Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cycle counts and stock binning.
Receive stock orders and place items into bin locations.
Inspect worn cores and process credits as needed.
Pull and prepare customer and shop orders for delivery.
Deliver parts to customers and assist loading at customer sites.
Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and safe work area.
Respond to warranty parts return requests and manage hold areas.

What You Will Be Doing:

As the Parts Warehouse/Delivery Driver you will be responsible for pulling stock orders for customers, technicians and other stores in the Yancey family. The Parts Warehouse/Delivery Driver will also be responsible for daily cycle counts, maintaining a clean warehouse and making deliveries to customers and other Yancey stores as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform and enter daily cycle counts each morning prior to receiving stock or billing out any items.
Receive all stock orders each day and properly bin locate any items that do not already have bin locations assigned.
Inspect worn cores before issuing credit.
Review all part and core credits issued from previous day to verify receipt.
Build hoses utilizing proper assembly and contamination control techniques.
Pull all orders in a timely manner including branch transfers received prior to cut-off, delivering shop orders, and assisting customers with loading.
Maintain a clean warehouse by sweeping and cleaning each day.
Process and return cores each week.
Respond to all warranty parts return requests each week.
Purge unneeded items from warranty hold areas monthly.
Deliver parts to customers, as well as pickup outside purchases and core returns, while operating a company owned vehicle in a responsible, safe manner.

Additional Responsibilities:

Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should be organized, show an attention for detail and a sense of urgency. You should have basic computer skills, safety conscious and the willingness to learn. The ability to multitask, problem solve and provide superior customer service are essential to this position as well.

Education/Experience:

High school or equivalent

Required Qualifications/Skills:

Valid, active driver's license.
Ability to clear driver screenings and provide necessary information for a complete driver file, including but not limited to:
- Background check and MVR with less than 10 points.
- DOT Physical
- Drug Screen
Able to obtain forklift certification
Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively and occasionally higher amounts with assistive devices
Willingness to work in hot/cold weather conditions
Attention to detail
Basic computer skills (email, internet, basic data entry)
Problem solving and multitasking
Safety conscious and customer focused
Be self-driven and take pride in your work

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
