Job summary

VIP Automotive Group in Hicksville, NY is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Parts Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, verify incoming parts, and prepare outgoing shipments.

This full-time role offers a Mon-Fri schedule from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, starting pay at $18/hour, and benefits including medical and dental insurance, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

Experience in automotive dealership preferred.
Shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience is a plus.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
Ability to lift and move automotive parts and materials.
Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming automotive parts shipments.
Compare shipments to invoices and bills of lading.
Prepare outgoing shipments and package items securely.
Label and organize shipments accurately.
Route incoming inventory to the appropriate departments.
Maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy.
Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and warehouse equipment as needed.
Process damaged, returned, or unsold parts.
Pick up and deliver automotive parts from wholesale warehouses.
Maintain stock levels and ensure proper storage procedures.
Assist with general warehouse and parts department operations.
