Job summary

The Pete Store LLC in Crossville, TN is seeking a warehouse associate to pull, pack, load, and deliver parts while maintaining inventory and supporting the parts team in daily operations.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely order fulfillment; prior warehouse experience is preferred, with on-the-job training and benefits including health insurance, 401K, paid holidays and vacation.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pull and fill customer orders generated by parts counter and outside sales.
• Assist as needed with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Coordinate delivery route with all other parts employees.
• Deliver parts in the absence of a parts driver.
• Unload and process “cores” returned to dealership.
• Process outgoing parcel and LTL shipments.
• Unloading and processing of palletized stock from incoming orders.
• Verify that invoices and packing slips match product and quantities being delivered and received.
• Communicate any immediate maintenance or safety related issues to management.
• Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
• Helps with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
• Perform cycle counts for perpetual inventories.
• Maintain efficient and practical flow of inventory through warehouse.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Other Duties as assigned
